After the national aviary, I had some extra time to explore an old but ever-so-cool Lanternmans Mill in Ohio. Went on a short but fun hike around the river and the mill. It was my first hike since heading north that really started to feel like our forest back home! Missed me some pine trees! The area was super cool, and the river just added to the serenity 10-fold. No plant focus this time around! My standout for this hike was the skunk cabbage! I really like the groves they form in flat wet spots. Thanks for peepin my post!

Cheers 🍻
