It was near Pittsburgh, so I had to stop at the National Aviary. Love me some little birds! Pittsburgh was such a cool city too loved just driving down the streets. Coming through the tunnel into the city was scenic! The National Aviary was everything I wanted it to be. I really liked the open exhibits and being able to get close looks at all the birds! There were so many different varieties, but the Owl Finch was hands down my favorite! The visit has left me with a dream of owning an aviary full of little Owl Finches. It’s just like a little baby owl that stays teeny tiny forever. I kid you not, I probably sat on a bench watching them for an hour and a half. Glad I could stop to enjoy birds in all their shapes and sizes. If you are ever in Pittsburgh, I would definitely make a stop.
