Van Life Day 207

I am usually the kind of person who likes to fill my days traveling, fitting as much stuff as I can in one day. But sometimes I find the perfect spot to park my van, and I just can’t help but stay there and take it all in. This was one of those days. Just a few hours driving and I had found myself at my own personal lake. No one else around for miles. I felt it would be a disservice not to pull out the paddle board and get to the center of this piece of tranquility I was fortunate enough to find. Bugs be damned. It was small but more than big enough for 1 person. We have got to make a word that describes the magic of a forest so dense the trees meet the edge of the undisturbed water, making a beautiful mirror. Ethereal is good but doesn’t quite feel specific enough. Alas, it was a calm day filled with reading, paddling, and a beautiful sunset.

Hope y’all see something Ethereal soon,
Cheers 🍻
