Smaller artists with some chill drums, great long guitar riffs, and great vocals. Haven’t deep-dived into his music yet, but if this vibe holds, this will be some good songs to transition out of my metal rap era.

Ashe! One of my favorite female vocals of all time, ever since Moral of the Story. Since then, I always check in here and there to see if there is anything new. I recently added 4 of her songs to the playlist, and this is my favorite of the set.
I knew the name but never really listened. My buddy Jed put me onto him lately. The slower rap with a chiller vibe. His songs will always bring me back to fire seasons spent driving and jamming in good company 🙂
A new artist I discovered via TikTok! I like a lot of his songs and am waiting for a new song drop. Have a feeling, after Nora Nelson, that it might be a new AI artist, but don’t know for sure.
If I had to pick a 2nd favorite artist it would be On Planets! His voice and the beats mix with the awesome kicks. He has grown on me, and this song wasn’t on my playlist before, but it is now.
Half Alive is a band I used to listen to a lot. I was recently going through my old playlists, making new ones, and this song came across my desk, brought back some nostalgia, and was re-added to the rotation. Welcome back!
One of those songs that would make a rad fucking edit with the right clips. You can picture it in your head and it captures a feeling so well. Synth Pop is so in!
Zeds Dead has been on my radar for a minute, but typically a little too dubstep for my taste. In Your Head strikes a balance, and I am a sucker for female vocals when it comes to songs like these. Great song to round out the list.
