Vanlife Day 188 & 189! Some stuff from hiking around to a bunch of natural bridges in Kentucky! Bunch of really cool rock formations in the area! Just some nice quiet hikes enjoying the cool spring air while it’s chilly! Also throwing in some bonus photos from the Mothman museum 🫣

My plant focus is the Mountain Laurel! (Kalmia latifolia) A cool plant that grows in the eastern US and is the state flower for both Connecticut and Pennsylvania! It is an evergreen that can grow as a tree or shrub and has really pretty flowers, which are white with cool interior markings. The flowers are unique in that they have spring-loaded pollen that is flung onto bugs when triggered. All parts of the plant are poisonous, but the Native Americans did use the plant medicinally!
Thanks as always!
Cheers!
