This is going to be a long one! A lot went down in them 104 days! I was lucky enough to spend the winter with some family in Chinquapin NC at their awesome little homestead! Special thanks for Todd and Debra for letting me park at their little farm in the woods! Waking up every day surrounded by so many animals was a dream come true! I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to spend the winter and it was all possible because of them!

Between working I had the chance to go visit my good friend Kate! We got our escape room success rate up to 66% now 😎 humble brag! So glad we got to hang out not once, but twice before I left! It was a blast and I will be waiting for you to come visit the gang back in Boise!

I also had some family fly in to see me!!!! My mom and sister flew down for a little beach vacation with their favorite nomad! We spent a weekend beach hoping, kayaking, and shopping up and down the east coast! It was a blast and was so so so glad we could make it happen. It was nice to be able to hang out. I am so used to being able to see them whenever I want, that even a week or two away has felt like forever! Seeing them was truly a blessing!

I got to go to some cool events! A National battlefield was having their 250th anniversary and they did a reenactment complete with vendors and food trucks! I got to pull out my ren fair outfit for a local ren fair that knocked our ren fair back home out of the park! Was also able to go on a hike or two and explored NC quite a bit!

Atlas got the most stuck i have ever got him on this entire trip. (Knocking on wood) and also needed some repairs during our downtime but he is back to his good ol self now and ready to hit the road!
All in all my time in NC was amazing, I am glad to have gotten time to recoup some gas money, meet awesome new people (shout out to my coworkers if yall see this!) And wait out the worst of the cold weather! That being said I am so so glad to be back out on the road! Stay tuned for more hiking and other shenanigans from yours truly!
See yall round! Cheers!
