Reverend Chandler Gets Ordained?

This Guy’s In Love With You – Herb Albert

You read that correct, and yes you can call me reverend whenever you want (it’s encouraged). I was recently asked by my good friends Justin and Hannah to officiate their elopement in February. I am so honored that they thought of me when they thought of who should officiate such a huge moment of their lives. I am so happy that these two were able to find each other and that they are happy and in love enough to take things to the next step. As someone who thought he had found the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with I am glad I get to be such a big apart of something so special.

They Let You Get Ordained?

As it turns out, it takes about 2 seconds and maybe 6 clicks to get ordained, which actually blew my mind. I went into it expecting a long application and review process. I thought there would be a month-long course where I learned a bunch of religious mumbo jumbo and legal shenanigans. In reality, I just gave them my name and email and said, “ordain me please.” Now, you do need to order a copy of your ordainment certificate. You also need to order your marriage license and sometimes even a letter of good standing. But the site I used to get ordained includes all this fun stuff for $80 in a big kit with a bunch of extra goodies. (Check out my goodies below.) One of the items I got was a guidebook on how to actually conduct a wedding, which will be the actual hard part, but I am confident I will nail it :).

Will You Officiate My Wedding?

yes.

Ending Notes

I know most people reading my blog probably don’t know Justin and Hannah personally. But if you do, make sure to congratulate them on picking such a good Reverend. Also congratulate them on their marriage too. If they are okay with it, I will share some stuff with you later about the actual elopement. Either way, thanks for tuning in for this post. Love you bunches!
