Carlsbad National Park

CARLSBAD CAVESSSSS!!!! Never have I ever been in a cave as huge as this. You are hiking through 1 cave for hours, and I didn’t even go down into the lower caves! You start at the bat atrium and go down, down, down till you are 70+ floors down. My pictures don’t do it justice. You slowly lose natural light at the beginning, then you’re in the lit-up caves that wind and curve, with an eerie, beautiful silence. The formations are stunning, and the big open area leaves you in awe of just how massive the caves really are. If you ever get the chance, do not hesitate! One of my favorite stops so far. See yall on the trails!

Day 52 of vanlife! Carlsbad caves is one of the coolest places I have ever been! the cave just keeps going and going,winding in and out of cool formations with a beautiful silence that really left me in awe! Such a Rad Place!
