Not a recommendation, but rather a movie I saw a clip of. I saw Johnny Depp and realized it had been a minute since I saw a movie with him in it. The clip I saw caught my interest. The movie follows a professor who receives a terminal diagnosis and as he begins to live with abandon. Richard starts trying things in a last-ditch effort to experience as much as he can. The movie is funny one moment and heartbreaking the next, and it checked all my boxes.

As someone currently trying to experience everything I can, Richard’s journey really resonated with me. I found myself cheering him on and clapping whenever he shrugged and left his comfort zone. Johnny Depp does so well playing a witty character like Richard, and can still swivel to bittersweet at the snap of a finger. If you need a movie to spur you out of the routine, this is a great pick.

I Would Give The Professor A 8 / 10
