Imbolc or Saint Brigid’s Day is the pagan holiday that falls between the winter and spring solstice. It is a time to celebrate the returning light and to observe the first signs of spring. It is also a time for renewal and new beginnings. If you believe in Brigid a goddess who is a patron for fertility and healing this would also the time to honor her. Many celebrate the season by making a “Brigid’s Cross“. You can also plant seeds for your intentions and goals for the year. Its also a good time to clean and purify your home. Time to get around to that spring cleaning!
My Celebrations!
I kept it pretty low key for my first Imbolc and decided to focus on getting clean and purifying. I took some time to also plant and think about my intentions for spring. My thought was to get clean and pure before starting the rest of the celebrations. I decided this would be the best place to start. So, I made a little ritual bath using some herbs and candles. I paired it with some incense and tea to really set the tone. I also did some tarot drawings and journaling/soul searching. If you want to see me in the ritual bath feel free to head over to my Only Fans Here!

After that we got baking some rosemary garlic bread. If you don’t know this about me I am a great cook and an awful baker. Luckily I only made one hiccup and the bread actually turned out great. I was actually quite impressed with myself. Would I do it again? No, that took forever to bake. While it was rising and baking I planted some new seeds and thought about my intentions for spring hopefully by the time they are fully grown I will have completed my goals and my intentions will reach fruition. I have some updated photos. My dwarf sunflowers are going crazy! The Coleus are starting to sprout and the peppermint I’m still waiting to see any results from.

You can also see the new journal I got to keep all my notes, journals, and Wicca / druidry research in. I forgot I purchased some rosemary sage to burn in my room and clean out the vibes with but I will be doing that soon. I think I’m going to cut out baking for most of my future celebrations. While It was fun this one was a little more time consuming then I wanted it to be and pulled away from enjoying the rest of the day. All in all though I had a great time and I am looking forward to Ostara come March 20th. I am sure I will have plenty of post between now and then but as far as spirituality posts go I will see yall then π
Cheers,
Chandler
