Donβt get a ton to share with you today but did want to give you some recent stuff I have been working on. My daily driver’s engine started knocking recently. Therefore, Atlas has become my daily driver waaaaaay sooner than expected. Honestly, I love driving him so much that I don’t mind much. Hopefully, I can get my car fixed soon since Atlas is not the most fuel-efficient, and boy does my wallet feel it when he gets thirsty. He canβt help it though, he needs that good juice to sustain his awesome aura.
The Shelf
Now for the updates starting with the biggest one. Me and my dad installed a bookshelf where the fridge used to be, I still have to paint it, and it’s on my to-do soon radar but overall I am happy with it. Special thanks to my Dad for helping me with tools, and materials and his amazing expertise. I am sure I could have built a shelf that would have been functional. However, my dad made it so much easier. He had solutions to some issues that probably would have stumped me. Feel free to watch the video of the construction and installation!
Minor Updates
Other than that some minor updates: I got a new smaller and more energy-efficient fridge. The plan is to install a sort of bracket for it on the countertop so it doesn’t move in transit and is accessible without being on the floor. I also got my water tank. While it is smaller than I was expecting, it should work perfectly for me. Now I just need to get my collapsible sink and the foot pump. Then I will have my poor man’s sink completed. The bed sheets and covers came in with the duvet and I already took a few naps in it. One of my coworkers also passed out drunk on it the other day so I would say it’s passed all the test drives in terms of comfortability.

Coming Soon
Now for what’s coming up next for the van: 1st and biggest thing this month will probably be painting the shelf and doing some minor touch-ups. If I have some extra time at the end of the month, I may be able to build that bracket. My dad had a great idea for a table that unfolds. I’m going to explore that idea later and see what we can come up with. My birthday is right around the corner. I am sure I am going to get tons of stuff for the van. So, I will probably have lots of small things to incorporate into the van late this month.
Thanks for checking in on me and Atlas. Hope to see you in the next update and hopefully, it will be a little warmer outside π
Cheers
Chandler
